Since becoming a part of The Chicago School in 2008, the Naomi Ruth Cohen Institute for Mental Health Education has provided opportunities for students to expand awareness, promote mental wellness, and work to end stigma. Through fellowships, federal work study positions, and volunteer opportunities, students gain direct experience in the community and the field of psychology.<\/p>\n

\"Headshot\u201cI chose to be an NRCI fellow because the program offers opportunities to engage in program development, mental health education, and community outreach,\u201d says Rebecca Skinner, a student in the Clinical Psychology<\/a> Psy.D. program. \u201cIt continues to be a rewarding way to advance my learning through additional research and training while also applying the skills I have gained at The Chicago School.\u201d<\/p>\n
