Ozumba brings a distinguished career in nonprofit, academic, and thought leadership to The Chicago School. Prior to her tenure at Women\u2019s College Coalition, she served as President and CEO of Women&#8217;s Funding Network (WFN), an international association of over 160 women&#8217;s foundations in the U.S. and abroad. The Chicago School is a leading nonprofit, private university devoted exclusively to psychology, and related behavioral health sciences.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am delighted and truly humbled to join the Board of Trustees of such a distinguished institution whose mission I very much support, one which parallels the mission of the Women\u2019s College Coalition\u2014to provide students with a transformational education that produces leaders in our society,\u201d says Ozumba.<\/p>\n<p>Named to <em>Fast Company<\/em> Magazine\u2019s League of Extraordinary Women, which lists women working to remake global society by supporting and assisting women and girls, Ozumba led the Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Power and Potential (GCAPP) for 10 years, one of the largest statewide nonprofit organizations in the country working to reduce teenage pregnancy. In her current position as President of the Women\u2019s College Coalition, she oversees an organization that serves member colleges and universities in the U.S. and Canada by conducting collaborative research; introducing women and their families to women\u2019s colleges through admissions advocacy programs; and bringing together women\u2019s college leaders to collaborate and to explore the issues in higher education today. Earlier in her career, she was a Senior Lecturer in Urban Planning and Estate Management at the University of Nigeria.<\/p>\n<p>Members of The Chicago School\u2019s Board of Trustees, led by Chair Dr. Joe Layng, Chairman and Partner at Generategy, LLC, serve as stewards of the school\u2019s mission by ensuring that all proposals for new plans and programs, including the Strategic Plan, serve to advance and fulfill its mission.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>About The Chicago School of Professional Psychology<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Founded in 1979, The Chicago School is a nonprofit, private university devoted exclusively to psychology, and related behavioral and health sciences, and is an affiliate of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tcsedsystem.edu\/\">The Community Solution Eduation System<\/a>.
