New thechicagoschool.edu showcases university\u2019s capabilities and impact<\/h2>\n

(LOS ANGELES) (FEBRUARY 5, 2016) \u2014\u00a0<\/strong>The Chicago School, a nonprofit university, and one of the leading institutions devoted to psychology, and related behavioral and health sciences, today announced the launch of its redesigned website, www.thechicagoschool.edu<\/a>. Restyled with the prospective student in mind, The Chicago School\u2019s new website is structured as a curated narrative exploration into what it feels like to be a Chicago School student, bringing to life the student experience both within and beyond the classroom. The website offers a comprehensive look at what the University offers academically, and also highlights stories and photography that showcase the impact members of The Chicago School community are making in the world.<\/p>\n

\u201cRecognizing what a vital role our website plays both internally and externally, our University decided to give it a fresh look to better reflect who we are \u2014 a vibrant, welcoming university community that graduates next generation psychologists and behavioral health scientists prepared to become a success in their fields and positively impact communities locally, nationally or internationally,\u201d explained Michele Nealon, Psy.D., president, The Chicago School.<\/p>\n

The Chicago School engaged in a collaborative process to rebuild its website, one that involved focus groups with stakeholders across The Chicago School on ground and online campuses. Over a year in the making, the website redesign was accomplished with the collective input of The Chicago School\u2019s students, staff, faculty and leadership. The result: a website built from within that gives an in-depth view inside the University.<\/p>\n

About The Chicago School<\/strong><\/p>\n

Founded in 1979, The Chicago School is a nonprofit, private university devoted exclusively to psychology, and related behavioral and health sciences. The university serves nearly 4,500 students across campuses in Chicago; Southern California (Los Angeles and Irvine); and Washington, D.C., as well as through online programs. The Chicago School is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission, (WSCUC), and its Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program in Chicago is accredited by the American Psychological Association. A member of the National Council of Schools and Programs of Professional Psychology, The Chicago School is recognized for its distinguished service and outstanding contributions to cultural diversity and advocacy. The community service initiatives on the Chicago Campus have also earned recognition on the President\u2019s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll for seven consecutive years.
