The Chicago School’s first concern \u2013 upon learning about Argosy\u2019s challenges \u2013 was for their students. As an institution dedicated for the last 40 years to educating and training professionals in the mental and related behavioral health professions, The Chicago School deeply sympathizes with their predicament. That is why we committed to doing everything we can to ensure these students can keep their dreams alive and complete their education.<\/p>\n

We have been working closely with officials from a variety of agencies to provide a ready path for students in several Argosy programs to continue their education with us. As an example, we have worked with Dr. Bob Barrett of Argosy University and Dr. Jackie Wall (APA Commission on Accreditation) to enter into teach-out agreements for the Northern VA, Orange County and Chicago Argosy Clinical Psy.D. programs. Additionally, we are working quickly to also bring AU faculty to The Chicago School who wish to join our learning and training community and continue to educate and support their students.<\/p>\n

Countless numbers of students are being supported individually to enter The Chicago School and seamlessly complete their studies. Our academic leaders and administrators have been working around the clock to bring students onboard, all the while encouraging and supporting them.<\/p>\n

Mental health professionals are in greater demand than ever \u2013 as we maneuver through these anxious times. It is vital we work together to continue to provide rigorous but accessible education programs to prepare the next generation of therapists and psychologists. We feel very privileged to be able to support our training community in this manner and to allow AU students complete their education with as little disruption as possible.<\/p>\n
