- Gain a Global Public Health Perspective: Develop practical global health experience while exploring health disparities, culturally responsive practices, and strategies for effective cross-cultural communication and community engagement. Choose from three flexible pathways:
- An immersive international travel experience,
- An individualized experience within a local or state community that reflects global health issues, or
- A virtual international experience connecting you with global health initiatives.
Outcomes After Graduation
- Collaborate with stakeholders and advocate for public health strategies and policies that address the needs of diverse populations.
- Evaluate health promotion and disease prevention programs using biostatistics, epidemiological principles, and evidence-based research.
- Conduct and apply research to improve public health outcomes, access, quality, and professional practice.
The Future Leaders in Public Health Scholarship
The Future Leaders in Public Health Scholarship is an award available to new students enrolled in the Master of Public Health program at The Chicago School.
- Award Amount: $5,000
The Future Leaders in Public Health Scholarship may not be combined with other Chicago School scholarships. Recipients of The Future Leaders in Public Health Scholarship become eligible for Special Tuition Rates once all scholarship funds have been dispersed.
