Train to Teach Across Settings: Prepare to educate future counselors in both in-person and virtual environments, building the versatility to support counselors across today’s evolving profession.

Three-Year Full-Time Program: Complete your doctoral training in as few as three years through an intensive curriculum designed to prepare counselor educators, supervisors, and leaders in the mental health field.

Interactive Online Learning with Faculty Mentorship: Study online while staying actively connected through real-time instruction, interactive discussions, cohort collaboration, and extensive faculty mentorship.

Advanced Telehealth Training: Build specialized skills in telebehavioral counseling, education, supervision, leadership, and technology-enhanced practice. Additional experience is available through our Virtual Clinical Training Center, one of the nation’s first graduate-level community mental health training clinics focused on telehealth.

Extensive Practical Training: Gain hands-on experience through 100 practicum hours and 600 internship hours, including required teaching and supervision experience, with additional training in counseling, consultation, research, and professional leadership.

CACREP-Accredited Curriculum: The online Ph.D. Counselor Education and Supervision program is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP), meeting their standards with regard to institutional settings, program mission and objectives, program content, practicum experiences, student selection and advising, faculty qualifications and workload, program governance, instructional support, and self-evaluation.
