Dr. Holcomb received his PhD from Ball State University in 2012. He completed a predoctoral internship at the London Health Sciences Centre with rotations at the Children's and University Hospital. He also completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Dartmouth Medical School in Pediatric Neuropsychology. He has previously held teaching positions at Mississippi State University - Meridian and the University of Southern Indiana.

Dr. Holcomb is an active clinician in the New Orleans and Southern Mississippi areas. In addition to private practice, he provides neuropsychological services at the Hattiesburg Clinic, in Hattiesburg Mississippi and is actively involved in numerous Alzheimer's Drug Trials. He supervises clinical students at the No AIDS foundation in New Orleans. Dr. Holcomb is also actively involved in research with students and has presented at a number of national and international conferences. His research interests include effort testing in children and attention and concentration.
