Biography

Robyn M. Catagnus, EdD, BCBA-D, LBS earned her doctorate in Education from Arcadia University, having previously received her baccalaureate in Psychology from the University of Houston and her master degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Technology from Temple University. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst at the doctoral level and a Licensed Behavior Specialist.

Dr. Catagnus has two decades of experience and expertise in teaching and implementing ABA. As a practitioner in home, residential, and educational settings, she clinically supervised cases, created staff trainings, conducted workshops, and presented professional development events. Dr. Catagnus has presented nationally at conferences on a variety of ABA topics and was the founder of Clarity Behavioral Consulting, a special education service agency that provided training, support and supervision to public school programs and parents of children with developmental disabilities. She has taught ABA online since 2009 and passionately believes that online education is a most valuable method of disseminating the science of behavior analysis globally. She's interested in ways technology, e-learning, and web-based training enable us to create better, more effective, and efficient outcomes for learners of all kinds.

She previously served as the Vice President of Professional Services at an education technology company specializing in online curriculum and staff training for school districts serving children with autism. Her professional and business background center around services to people and she's directed operations in education, behavioral health, staffing, and technology.

Dr. Catagnus is the Former Founding President and a current board member of the Multicultural Alliance of Behavior Analysts, a special interest group of the Association of Behavior Analysis, and remains an active board member. Her research interests include remote clinical supervision, cultural competency in behavior analysis, online teaching and professional development, and e-collaboration for teams.
