January 10, 2018
Institution listed in Military Advanced Education & Transitions 2018 Guide to Colleges and Universities” for fourth consecutive year.
(LOS ANGELES) (January 10, 2018) –The Chicago School of Professional Psychology is pleased to announce its fourth consecutive designation of a Top School in the Military Advanced Education & Transition (MAE&T)’s 2018 Guide to Colleges & Universities. The Chicago School is one of the leading nonprofit institutions devoted exclusively to psychology, and related behavioral health sciences with new programs in the health services.
The Guide, which measures best practices in military and veteran education, was released in December and is available online at www.mae-kmi.com.
The Guide evaluated over 600 participating institutions in six key categories of consideration to service members, veterans, their spouses and dependents: military culture, financial assistance, flexibility, general support, online support and on-campus support. Included in the Guide is information about the types of degree programs each school offers on-campus, online, and as hybrid (a blend of both online and on-campus).
“Now in its eleventh year of publishing the guide, MAE&T was the first publication to launch a reference tool of this type. MAE&T has been improving the process every year in order to provide our men and women in uniform information that will help them make the right choices about college,” said Kelly Fodel, Military Advanced Education & Transition’s editor-in-chief.
“This award is a recognition of the support The Chicago School strives to provide for our military and veteran students and their families,” said Jennifer Stripe Portillo. “We recently formed a new partnership the National Military Family Association to provide scholarships to eligible military spouses, and we plan to continue to create more opportunities that support this population.”
