The Los Angeles Campus started its Fall Term in a new location, welcoming students to a 38,000 square feet space in the Aon Center at 707 Wilshire. On September 26th, the official grand opening celebration welcomed leadership from across the University, students, staff and faculty. The new campus is spread across two floors and includes an additional 1,300 square feet of ground floor space and discounted parking in an underground garage.
As a university devoted to service to community and diversity, The Chicago School has always found the Los Angeles downtown district to be an optimal location because of its easy accessibility and the many real-world training opportunities for students in the area. In 10 years at its original downtown location, The Chicago School formed partnerships with several community organizations, including the Midnight Mission and the Los Angeles Mission.
“We love the downtown district, and wanted to stay in the urban core of the city so that we could continue to serve the community and offer our students and employees continuity of location,” said President Michele Nealon, Psy.D. “Aesthetically, the new campus is a stunning modernization of our brand with a clean modern design and plenty of community space. Practically, the location attracts the diverse student and employee populations we feel are necessary for a complete educational experience.”
