Biography
Dr. Alex Aguilar began as a faculty member with The Chicago School of Professional Psychology ten years ago. He started as a Masters student after earning his B.A. in Psychology and minor in economics from Ohio Wesleyan University in 2008. Continuing into his Doctorate (completed in 2013), Alex always challenges the status quo of how data is collected, managed, analyzed, and shared to drive the most significant, most efficiently achieved impact for organizations.
In addition to his faculty position, Alex is a Senior Product Manager overseeing the development of People Analytics offerings for Perceptyx, an employee survey and people analytics platform to hundreds of global enterprises, including 30 of the Fortune 100.
Alex lives and works remotely from Decatur, GA, with his wife (a fellow Chicago School graduate), dog, "Otter," and a collection of 3D printers he built. Successful students and candidates working with Alex will do the reading, put in the time to apply his feedback fully to prepare for the next step, and ask questions when they need help - "I'd rather answer "How do I do X, Y or Z" than "What can I do to raise my grade".
