The Chicago School is proud to provide information on the many benefits we offer for active-duty personnel, veterans, and their families. These benefits include education programs such as the Post-9/11 GI Bill® and Montgomery GI Bill®, Military Tuition Assistance (TA) options, and more.
The Chicago School is a GI Bill®-approved institution. We also accept all VA educational benefits, including VR&E Chapter 31, and participate in the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Yellow Ribbon Program.

Active-duty and reserve service members, their spouses and dependents, as well as veterans, their spouses, and dependents may be eligible for the military tuition rate. This rate has been established to support individuals who have dedicated themselves to serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.
The Servicemembers Center for Academic Support & Resources (SCARS) supports active- duty personnel, reservists, guard members, and their families at all campus locations. The goal of the SCARS program is to build a strong community and support system for military-adjacent students throughout their entire academic journey at The Chicago School.
The mission of the SCARS program is to create system initiatives that encourage and enhance student involvement to improve their self-sufficiency. These initiatives lead to greater student motivation, resilience, well-being, and academic success. SCARS initiatives include mentorship, a student advisory board, writing specialists support, new student orientation, counseling/telehealth services through the Virtual Clinical Training Center (VCTC), scholarships, career services, and additional resources.
