Biography

Dr. Fedio earned her PhD in Applied/Experimental Psychology from The Catholic University of America and her PsyD degree in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology, Virginia. Her work in clinical neuropsychology combines her research and clinical background. Prior to entering academia, she worked as a research psychologist in the Neurology Institute at The National Institutes of Health (NIH), where she studied cognitive and emotional correlates of epilepsy and other neurological disorders. Dr. Fedio's research interests include the neurological bases of cognition (e.g., memory, language) and emotions, self-awareness and self-concept in individuals with brain injury, and treatment of individuals with neurological disorders. Her clinical interests include both neuropsychological assessment and therapy with neurological patients and their family members.
