Biography
Tica Lopez, PhD, is the Director of Clinical Training and an Associate Professor in the Clinical PsyD Program at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (TCSPP), Irvine campus. Prior to starting her position at TCSPP in 2019, Dr. Lopez was the Director of Clinical Training and an Associate Professor at the American School of Professional Psychology, Clinical PsyD program at Argosy University, Orange County campus since 2003. Dr. Lopez holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Loyola Marymount University, and she received her Ph.D.in Clinical Psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP), Los Angeles campus. Dr. Lopez's areas of expertise include clinical training of graduate students in psychology and multicultural mental health. Dr. Lopez received a certification as a treatment specialist for diverse populations. In addition, Dr. Lopez maintains a private practice in the city of Fullerton. Dr. Lopez is a licensed psychologist in the state of California. Dr. Lopez's main areas of interest include multicultural mental health, clinical training of graduate students, and adult treatment of trauma.
