Biography
Dr. Brigit Olsen first became affiliated with The Chicago School in 2008, serving as Lead Faculty for Industrial/Organizational Psychology for the initial launch of the downtown Los Angeles Campus. Dr. Olsen then became the Director of Student Services and held a number of positions within The Chicago School before returning to consulting in the Midwest. Dr. Olsen continues to serve as an adjunct on the online campus.
Dr. Olsen has held various consulting and leadership roles, such as Organizational Development Consultant in health care, higher education, commercial construction and other industries. She currently owns a Consulting company in the Midwest, serving clients in Milwaukee and Chicagoland areas with organizational development initiatives. She has consulted and taught courses in both corporate (from small local businesses to Fortune 500) and academic settings. She is also a certified HeartMath trainer. She earned her B.A. in Business and an M.B.A from North Park University in Chicago and holds a Ph.D. in Psychology. Dr. Olsen also oversees dissertation research students and strives to integrate current research into business practices.
