Please describe your teaching philosophy. My approach to teaching is that of providing comprehesive feedback, personally applying the theories, concepts, and models we study in course assignments, while encouraging self-direction.
Why did you choose to enter the field of psychology? After spending 15 years in corporate America, working with over 1100 small business and not-for-profit organizations, I found a need for psychology in business.
What advice would you give to a student entering The Chicago School? The Chicago School will expect you to work hard, challenge yourself, and be challenged by the course content and the instructors. The courses are designed to offer current and historical academic materials. You will approach each course through the eyes of applied research. You will be expected to share in the classroom (live or online) and in your written assignments the appication of the course content as it relates to your own professional and/or personal life. In other words, you will work at applying, when possible, the theories, concepts, and models to your workplace experiences.
