Biography
David Sacks is a Professor of Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Washington, DC campus. He recently developed a new course on The Climate Crisis: Clinical Psychology's Response. He also teaches Psychodynamic Intervention, History and Systems of Psychology, and Intermediate (psychotherapy) Practicum Seminar. He has a PsyD degree from Rutgers University and is board-certified in clinical psychology. From 2006-2019 he served as Associate Professor and Director of Clinical Training at the American School of Professional Psychology in Arlington, Virginia. He has worked as a chief psychologist and program manager in the child and youth division of the DC Department of Behavioral Health. He is licensed as a psychologist in DC and Maryland and currently has a private practice of psychotherapy in Chevy Chase, Maryland.
