Biography
Dr. Maurin earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the University of Miami's Mailman Center for Child Development, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine at the University of Utah. She also holds a Master of Health Science (MHS) in Maternal and Child Health from the Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health, earned in 2000.
Drawing on her dual training in public health and psychology, Dr. Maurin's work bridges health psychology, lifestyle medicine, and integrated primary care. She has presented on integrated primary care both nationally and internationally and maintains a strong interest in psychological assessment-particularly psychoeducational and neuropsychological evaluation-in both medically ill and healthy populations.
Dr. Maurin's research and clinical interests include primary care psychology, lifestyle medicine, postpartum depression, and women's health.
