Biography

Elizabeth Meshes, PhD, BCBA-D, is a behavior analyst whose work bridges applied research, climate action, and ethical practice. She leads a research lab focused on addressing climate change through behavior change strategies that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, conserve water, and promote sustainable living.

Dr. Meshes began her career providing early intervention for children diagnosed with autism and expanded her practice to include adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, with an emphasis on least intrusive interventions and self-advocacy. She has also worked within human service organizations to enhance staff performance and service quality.

Passionate about mentoring the next generation of behavior analysts, Dr. Meshes trains students to engage in ethical, compassionate, and context-sensitive practices that make a meaningful impact, both for individuals and for the planet.
