Biography

Dr. Ellen Grant has worked with The Chicago School since 2009 providing course development and instruction to students within the Industrial and Organizational Psychology and Behavioral Economics Programs. Dr. Grant leads instruction for the Applied Research Project courses and assists with evaluation projects and dissertation committees for the Business Psychology and Organizational Leadership Doctoral Programs.

Prior to working at The Chicago School, Dr. Grant worked with a globally recognized employee assistance program providing clinical and business management services for local and international organizations. These services focused employee relations, work productivity, and employee wellness.

As a therapeutic counselor, Dr. Grant worked with a variety of populations throughout Chicago, Philadelphia and Burlington, Vermont focusing on the integration of mental health services between students' primary social systems.

Dr. Grant also worked with The Chicago School's Center for Academic Excellence assisting students and faculty with writing skills, presentation skills, APA formatting, and test-taking skills. At the University of Vermont and State University of New York at Buffalo, Dr. Grant worked on multiple psychological research studies.

Dr. Grant's research interests include personality traits, academic achievement, academic success factors, learning styles, self-efficacy, change management and online learning.
