Biography

Prof. Dr. Emma Grace is a Program Chair of the Ph.D. International Psychology Program at the College of Graduate and Professional Studies, The Chicago School, Washington, DC Campus. She manages the program's administrative operations, teaches doctoral-level courses in international psychology, and chairs dissertation committees. Dr. Grace serves a Project Leader of the Global Collaboration on Traumatic Stress (GC-TS), an international network of trauma experts, where she leads the Global Psychotrauma Screen (GPS) Child and Adolescent Versions Group and is a member of the GPS Group international research projects. She specializes in the areas of global mental health and trauma, humanitarian mental healthcare, mass psychogenic illness, mass violence, forced displacement, revenge ideation, radicalism, and suicide terrorism. Dr. Grace has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and presentations. She serves as a peer-reviewer for several scholarly journals in psychology, mental health, behavioral and conflict studies. Dr. Grace received Distinguished International Research and Scholarship Award and Distinguished Teaching Award for Multicultural Teaching Excellence.
