Biography
Dr. Erika L. Liljedahl trained in the field of disability and neuropsychology. Dr. Liljedahl worked in various settings including outpatient and inpatient hospitals and clinics, rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, in substance and day treatment facilities, as well as in private practice and consultation roles. She has been teaching at the graduate level for over 20 years and has presented nationally and internationally. While she began her career in neuropsychology, Dr. Liljedahl was immediately exposed to civil forensic evaluations and then continued to conduct both civil and criminal forensic neuropsychological evaluations and thus taught herself how to be unflappable and effective on her first deposition. Dr. Liljedahl maintains an active interest in her own professional development and is inspired by her travels to continuously integrate cultural relevant information into the classroom.
