Biography

Dr. Jaqueline "Jackie" Moreno (she/her) is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst - Doctoral (BCBA-D) living and working in Los Angeles, California. She practices as a Senior Behavior Analyst at Autism Learning Partners, and she teaches as an Adjunct Faculty in the Psychology department at Pasadena City College and in the Behavior Analysis department at The Chicago School. She received her B.A. in Neuroscience from the University of Southern California, her M.A. in Human Development from Pacific Oaks College, and her Ph.D. in Psychology from The Chicago School under the advisement of Dr. Alyssa N. Wilson. She has presented on a variety of topics and interests, including her research on caregiver training to teach menstrual hygiene, verbal governance, and her service as a founding member of the California Sibling Leadership Network (CA Sibs). Her research interests also span topics and audiences, from verbal behavior, aversive contingencies, collaborative caregiver training, and assent-focused clinical practice. Her favorite fun activities include reading murder mysteries, trail running in the San Gabriel Mountains, and visiting local theme parks.
