Biography
Dr. Jessica Perez-Chavez obtained her doctorate in counseling psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She completed an APA-accredited internship at Cambridge Health Alliance/Harvard Medical School and a postdoctoral fellowship at Rush University's Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences in trauma and reproductive health psychology. Dr. Perez-Chavez holds an appointment as Assistant Professor of Counseling Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, where she teaches graduate courses. Dr. Perez-Chavez's scholarship and research interests include trauma-informed interventions and perinatal mental health. She is licensed in Illinois and is bilingual and can provide services in English and Spanish.
