Julie Philbrick

Julie Philbrick DO, FACOG, FACOOG is an AOBOG board certified obstetrician/gynecologist with over a decade of experience in full scope obstetrics and gynecology and medical education. She is an assistant professor and the founding Section Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Illinois College of Osteopathic Medicine where she serves as the Obstetrics and Gynecology clerkship director.

Dr. Philbrick earned her AB in Biology and Human Development at The University of Chicago before she began her medical training at Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. She was drawn to obstetrics and gynecology for the deeply meaningful patient interactions and the ability to impact women throughout their lifespan. She completed her residency at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago where she discovered her love of medical education. She continued to educate in the classroom, operating room, clinic, and labor floor while developing simulations, virtual learning, and gamification to keep learners engaged.
