Biography

Kasey is a mental health and wellness professional with over 14 years of experience specializing in organizational learning, leadership training, team development, and workforce wellness-She is visionary in creating and maintaining a systemwide organizational culture of well-being. Kasey is originally from the Bay Area of California. She earned her bachelor's degree from Northern Arizona University with a major in Criminal Justice a minor in Psychology and a master's degree in Forensic Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

Kasey is a coach specializing in Positive Intelligence and delivers mental health and well-being training and workshops to various audiences. Kasey's accomplishments include:

Developed cutting-edge programs and curricula for internal and external stakeholders, covering topics such as inspired leadership, conflict resolution, active listening and de-escalation, workforce wellness, faith-based mental awareness, supporting youth mental health, trauma exposure, and officer wellness.

Launched and facilitated 1,500+ training sessions that covered topics such as inspired leadership, change management, nonviolent communication, conflict resolution, crisis intervention, and mental health with community, corporate, and government entities.

Led and trained 5,000+ first responders, including 911 call-takers and dispatchers, correctional officers, and Cook County Sheriffs, on mental health and wellness.

Led the training team initiatives that upheld officer safety and protected officer wellness by training 5,000+ Chicago police officers on crisis intervention team training and wellbeing.

Led the Training & Education team that facilitated mental health awareness for 30,000+ youth ranging from 7th - 12th grade. Directed the creation of a comprehensive youth-focused web platform that provided interactive mental health and wellness literacy and resources to youth and caregivers in both English and Spanish.

Built and facilitated the evaluation and implementation of a younger youth curriculum, ages 8-11, on the introduction to their mental health and wellbeing.

Designed and consulted on officer role-play scenarios to enhance officer learning and built a curriculum for school resource officers.

Organized and executed an Illinois state cultural empowerment grant that supported faith communities by creating pastor and community-based partnerships to deliver free mental health awareness training and connection to resources.

Spearheaded partnerships with several global companies, including government agencies, to invest in workforce wellness and training.

Led the initiative to foster a culture of connection and wellness to drive employee purpose, trust, quality of work, and intrinsic motivation through the development of onboarding and professional development programs.
