Biography

I have been practicing in a private practice setting for almost 30 years. When I first started to do clinical work I became interested in eating disorders because the problem became so widespread and debilitating. I developed a treatment using Psychosynthesis a spiritual holistic aapproach to doing therapy. I did a study and then presented my findings at an International Conference and was approached to do trainings on the method after that which I did offer. I grew up in a family that got involved in helping people less fortunate, namely foster children, emotionally disturbed children, cognitively challenged children which has been very rewarding. I have had extensive experience working with the mentally ill.

Currently I am involved in equine and pet therapy being an animal lover and seeing the power of healing between people and animals. I also want to do a research study on the effects of pet therapy with the elder to see if the use of pets can reduce the need for antidepressants with the elder.
