Biography
Kristijan Civljak, PhD, serves as Associate Professor in the Business Psychology Division, Department Chair of Business Psychology Department in Southern California, and as Division Chair of Business Psychology at The Chicago School, College of Graduate and Professional Studies. In his leadership role, Dr. Civljak oversees faculty coordination, academic planning, and program development across program offerings. He is deeply engaged in fostering inclusive academic environments, supporting faculty development, and guiding strategic curriculum initiatives, including course redesign and organizational climate studies.
Dr. Civljak designs and teaches courses in social cognition, behavioral economics, culture-centered interventions, and organizational and cultural dynamics. He led the International Field Experience program in Kuwait, helping students cultivate critical self-reflection and global awareness. Additionally, he has played a key role in coordinating and expanding the Study Abroad program, encouraging students to critically examine educational psychology and the integration of technology in diverse cultural contexts.
His research focuses on inclusive leadership, diversity, and organizational change, as well as the settlement decisions of Serbian migrants in major U.S. cities.
