Biography
Dr. Creswell is a licensed clinical professional counselor in MD and DC, as well as a board-certified & licensed music therapist in Maryland. She has a wealth of knowledge in program development and experience in developing and modifying treatment provisions for women with severe and persistent mental illness, trauma, and substance use disorders. Dr. Creswell has also published research on women's perspectives of treatment in the psychiatric institution. She is a national and international speaker on best treatment practices for women with mental illness, substance abuse and trauma histories and continues to conduct research in this area. In addition to being an adjunct faculty member at The Chicago School, Dr. Creswell currently is the owner of a group private practice designed for teen girls (13+) and women suffering from trauma, depression, and anxiety. She has devoted many years working collaboratively with various disciplines enhancing treatment for women in mental health for over 20 years. She is a member of the American Counseling Association and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors of Maryland.
