Lisa Britton
Biography
Hello, my name is Lisa Britton. I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst at the Doctoral level (BCBA-¬D). I obtained my BS from the University of North Dakota in 1996. After which, I started my graduate training at the University of Nevada, Reno under the direction of James Carr. I obtained my MA in 1998 and PhD in 2000. Upon graduating, I started working at Spectrum Center Schools and Programs and I am currently the Vice President of Clinical/Behavioral Services. My primary focus is supporting the Senior Behavior Analysts who provide behavioral supports to students with Special Education needs in their educational environment. In 2015 I launched Britton Behavioral Consulting, a company designed to provide fieldwork supervision for people working to become a BCBA/BCaBA. I mostly deliver remote supervision, requiring me to have a good understanding of technology to provide a rich learning environment for those who I supervise. I have a longstanding career of teaching graduate level courses as an adjunct faculty through University of Nevada, Reno, California State University, Sacramento, University of North Dakota, Shenandoah University, and Touro University. My passion for disseminating behavior analysis brings me to The Chicago School to deliver quality instruction through online teaching.
