Marissa Tilton

Dr. Marissa Tilton is a licensed Clinical Psychologist in Illinois who earned her Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Family Psychology from Azusa Pacific University. She has worked in a variety of settings, including community counseling centers, college counseling centers, and private practices. Grounded in a warm, relational, and collaborative approach, Dr. Tilton provides comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological assessments for children, adolescents, and adults, alongside individual therapy for adolescents and adults. She specializes in clarifying complex diagnoses-such as ADHD, Autism, PTSD, OCD, anxiety, and depression-as well as perinatal mental health.

Her clinical expertise is further enriched by her international research in Lebanon, where she worked alongside local mental health professionals and humanitarian aid workers in conducting research on the experiences of Syrian refugees, focusing on religious coping, trauma, and resilience. Dr. Tilton is passionate about holistically shaping the next generation of clinicians through mentorship, supervision, and education.
