Biography

Dr. Mark E. Kassel is a seasoned clinical and forensic psychologist, educator, and academic leader with over 25 years of experience in mental health and higher education. Holding a PsyD in Clinical Psychology and an MA in Counseling Psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology, he has worked extensively with extreme and underserved populations across correctional, community, and global trauma contexts. Dr. Kassel has designed and taught a wide range of graduate-level courses in clinical, forensic, and developmental psychology, and has held key administrative roles shaping online education. His work reflects a deep commitment to trauma-informed care, diversity in practice, and instructional excellence, making him a valuable mentor, colleague, and contributor to the academic and professional psychology communities.
