Biography

Since my family set roots in American in the early 20th century, we have our home Chicago. My journey through high school, college, medical school, internal medicine residency, and clinical practice were all in the Chicago area. I am proud to be a part of this community and spent the last decade of independent practice serving the people of Chicago and greater Cook County as a traditional internist in both hospital medicine and outpatient practice environments.

When not practicing medicine, I have been involved in undergraduate medical education, post-graduate medical education, internal medicine residency program administration, hospital-wide training program administration, and quality improvement for hospital systems. I am drawn to creating a safe atmosphere for learners to grow. I aim to foster a pragmatic approach to problem-solving, whether it be at the bedside, in a classroom, or in the board room.

My other professional activities include an active role in the Northern Illinois Chapter of the American College of Physicians wherein I currently serve as chapter treasurer and emcee for our annual Resident Day meeting.

In my personal life I serve as board member for my high school alma mater, Montini Catholic. I live in La Grange Park with my growing family.
