Biography

Nikolaus Bezruczko, PhD is Adjunct Full Professor of Statistics in Department of Clinical Psychology, The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Chicago. He is originally from Linz, Austria, and a naturalized American citizen. . Six years clinical experience was completed teaching children with learning disabilities and emotional disorders in public schools. His doctoral concentration at University of Chicago was measurement, evaluation, and statistical analysis, Division of Social Sciences. His dissertation described parametrization of a test model to measure artistic judgment aptitude. His professional career has included psychometric research scientist in several organizations. Current research activities include improving methods for evaluating health and education outcomes, mathematical statistics, neuro-aesthetic aptitude development, and generative semiotics, which have been presented at meetings in North America and Europe. Recently published work is "Efficacy of Simulation for Caregivers of Children with a Tracheostomy" co-authored with researchers at Indiana University Health, which is online at Simulation in Nursing. "Rasch Measurement and Graph Theory" was recently published at Rasch Measurement Transactions. Forthcoming articles will appear in Archeological Methods and Theory, which describe the emergence of universal archetypal images and their expression during early child development. Recent conference presentations include psychometric validity at American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine in Chicago (November) and convoluted neuron networks (CNN) at International Generative Arts Conference in Rome, Italy (December). Professional memberships include American Association for Advancement of Science, Institute of Physics, and American Statistical Association.
