Biography
Dr. Dodzik is a pediatric neuropsychologist at Northwest Behavioral Services in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Dr. Dodzik specializes in pediatric neuropsychological assessment and sleep medicine.
Dr. Dodzik is also an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine and Adjunct Professor of Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School. He teaches courses in Neuroanatomy & Neuropathology, Pediatric Neuropsychology, Child & Adolescent Assessment, and Forensic Neuropsychology.
In addition to his clinical activities, Dr. Dodzik is currently involved in research related to pharmacological treatment of Alzheimer's disease and Vascular Dementia, surgical treatment for Parkinson's disease, and assessment of Developmental Dyslexia, ASD, and ADHD. Dr. Dodzik has published and presented in the area of neuropsychological assessment and sleep medicine.
Dr. Dodzik is licensed to practice psychology in Illinois and Indiana. He is also a member of the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology, the National Academy of Neuropsychology, the International Neuropsychological Society and the American Psychological Association. He is the previous president of the American Board of Pediatric Neuropsychology and the current Examination Chair. He served a delegate on the Minnesota Conference (MCG) regarding training in neuropsychology.
