Biography
Dr. Sadiqa Long is an experienced counselor, educator, and clinical supervisor with a diverse background spanning K-12 schools, universities, community mental health agencies, and nonprofit organizations. She is the founder and principal consultant of SRL Consulting, LLC, a firm dedicated to providing high-quality counseling, training, consultation, and clinical supervision services.
Dr. Long's research interests focus on traumatic stress and trauma-informed care, with a particular emphasis on early childhood trauma. She was honored as a Minority Fellow by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) in recognition of her contributions to the field.
Outside of her professional work, Dr. Long enjoys traveling, photography, and supporting her son at his basketball games.
