Biography
Scott Peck is a licensed psychologist specializing in obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety disorders, and issues of concern to members of LGBTQIA+ communities. Dr. Peck maintains a part-time private practice in Arlington, Virginia, where he offers assessment services to adolescents and adults. He also provides individual psychotherapy for the treatment of OCD and anxiety disorders using exposure therapy (ERP), existential/person-centered psychotherapy (PCT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).
Prior to becoming a clinical psychologist, Dr. Peck spent many years in the software industry, and is particularly interested in the intersection of psychology and artificial intelligence. His other research interests include OCD and related disorders, integrative approaches to the treatment of anxiety disorders, and the clinical use of corrective emotional experiences. He is also passionate about the history, philosophy, and ethics of psychology.
