Biography
Dr. Walsh earned his doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Toledo, and earned his master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Madonna University. He completed his clinical internship and a post-doctoral fellowship in forensic psychology at Saint Elizabeth's Hospital in Washington, D.C. Dr. Walsh has completed specialized training in forensic assessment and the application of cognitive testing in forensic decision making. His clinical interests include psychodynamic theory/therapy, treatment of anxiety/depression, and the integration of psychotherapeutic modalities. He has a strong interest in psychological assessment, which includes neuropsychological assessment, forensic assessment, and psychoeducational assessment. Dr. Walsh's research interests include the validity of psychological assessment measures in general and with performance-based personality measures such as the Rorschach Inkblot test. He is a licensed clinical psychologist in Virginia and the District of Columbia where he maintains a part-time clinical and forensic practice.
