Biography
My roots in Chicago run deep. Born and raised in Uptown and later moved to the southwest Suburbs of Chicago, as well as where my medical training began, the Chicagoland area has been the center of my personal, academic, and professional life. After graduating from Midwestern University in 2014 and completing my internal medicine residency at Lutheran General Hospital in 2017, I have spent my career serving this community as a board-certified internist and hospitalist. Whether caring for patients on the wards or teaching the next generation of physicians, my commitment to Chicago and its people has shaped every step of my journey.
Alongside clinical practice, I have built a meaningful career in medical education. I have been teaching across all four years of medical school for nearly a decade. My work extends into ultrasound and simulation education, curriculum development, and academic coaching, with a particular focus on helping learners grow through structured reasoning, clear frameworks, and a supportive environment.
Beyond the classroom and clinic, I remain engaged in community service through local free clinics, student organizations, and ongoing research and teaching projects. I am committed to creating spaces where learners feel empowered, challenged, and equipped with practical tools they can carry into residency and beyond.
In my personal life, I balance academic and clinical work with a love for music, sports, and time with my family and friends. I live in the western suburbs of Chicago with my wife and children, where we continue to build our lives in the community that has shaped us.
