Biography

Dr. Sola Kippers is Adjunct Faculty in the online Masters of Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. She has over twenty years of teaching experience with counseling graduate counseling programs located in the United States and Canada. She earned a doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision and a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling both from the University of New Orleans. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor/Board Approved Supervisor (LPC-S) and a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist (LMFT) in Louisiana, and a Board approved Telehealth provider. Dr. Kippers' clinical experience includes counseling adult clients in various settings that include private practice, intensive outpatient treatment program, residential addiction treatment program, clinical mental health, and career counseling. She has given numerous presentations at state, regional and national counseling conferences about clinical supervision, ethics, and boundaries in counseling.

In her free time, Dr. Kippers enjoys spending time with family and friends, visiting antique malls, trying out new restaurants. She has two fur-babies, Pepe (Chihuahua) and George (orange tabby cat)
