Join us for an insightful online event as we dive into a retrospective assessment of the Maine Shooting Incident. Dr. Jason Dana, Associate Professor of the Forensic Psychology Department at The Chicago School, Chicago Campus and expert in contemporary threat assessment, will share his expertise of this tragic event. This lecture will demonstrate the use of the Contemporary Threat Management (CTM) model for evaluating risk for targeted violence with real life data available prior to the Maine Shooting Incident. Available information associated with Andrew Card the man identified as being responsible for the Maine Shooting Incident in October 2023 will be discussed in relation to the CTM model. Suggestions for use of the model to identify high-risk future events will be offered at the conclusion of the lecture.
