Join us for an engaging online event focused on culturally responsive and gender-specific interventions for at-risk and/or justice-involved youth. This event is designed to provide valuable insights and strategies to support these vulnerable populations. Our faculty Roslyn Caldwell, Ph.D. of the Forensic Psychology Department at The Chicago School, Southern California Campuses will share her experiences and best practices in the following areas:
- Explore "Disproportionate Minority Contact" within the criminal justice systems.
- Understand the current state of best practices within this system.
- Discuss the cultural, psychological and behavioral phenomena of specialized juvenile justice populations (i.e., Gang Involved, Trafficked, etc.)
- Recognize the need for culturally sensitive and gender specific programs for at-risk and/or justice-involved youth.
- Discuss Training and Key Intervention Tools for Mental Health Professionals
