Join Perspectives in Professional Psychology on Jan. 20 at 6 p.m. CT for a conversation with Dr. Michael Wydo, Forensic Psychology Department Chair for Southern California campus of The Chicago School, about the field of correctional psychology.
We’ll explore the roles psychologists play in jails and prisons, the mental health needs of incarcerated individuals, and the challenges of delivering care in correctional settings. Our discussion will consider how psychologists navigate clinical responsibilities, ethical questions, and institutional demands while supporting rehabilitation and recognizing the humanity of those they serve.
