Threat Assessment Basics

  • Apr 9, 2024
  • 2:00pm - 3:00pm
  • Virtual
  • Anaheim , Los Angeles

Join us for an exciting online event on Threat Assessment Basics presented by Adare Toral, Ph.D. of the Forensic Psychology Department at The Chicago School, Southern California Campuses. This presentation serves to present information on the pathway toward violence, violence warning behaviors, and the process of threat assessment. Case examples of mass attackers will be used to demonstrate what warning behaviors may look like and how a threat assessment can be used to intervene. Mental health professionals (and future professionals) will gain an understanding of what to look for in potential clients and when to share information for a threat assessment to be completed. Join us as we explore the fundamentals of threat assessment!
