Study Abroad Programs
All Study Abroad programs require registration in the designated course. Upon a complete application and review, a student will be contacted to confirm interest and will be registered in the corresponding course.
The Study Abroad Program Fee covers some, but not all expenses, which can include in-country transportation, lodging, meals, etc. You are responsible for tuition, the study abroad program fee, airfare, passport fees, vaccination fees, etc. Faculty Leads for some programs have provided breakdowns, see below. The fee is refundable is accordance with The Chicago School’s policy on Study​ Abroad and Field Experience Program Fees in the Student Handbook.​

Faculty-Led Short Term Study AbroadÂ
Global Engagement offers extensive study abroad and international immersion programs that offer hands-on international experience and give students the opportunity to engage with diverse populations around the globe. These robust learning experiences empower students’ personal and professional development and help them grow as individuals and practitioners.​
​Course Requirements
- Courses meet on campus or online, culminating in travel typically over school breaks​
- In-country portion of program is typically between 1 to 2 weeks
- All programs are led by Chicago School faculty focusing on topics in the fields of study offered at The Chicago School
