A Global Academic Community

Through online, cohort, and blended formats, students in The Chicago School’s online programs help students develop a dynamic understanding of numerous fields—networking, gaining insight, and discussing thought-provoking topics with classmates, faculty, and scholars from around the world.

From enrollment through graduation, online students also benefit from ongoing support and personalized attention from our staff of student advisors. In addition, comprehensive career support services are available to help graduates define their goals and leverage their degrees to the fullest.

The Most Advanced Learning Tools

Online students at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology experience engaging content through video conferencing and podcasts, participating in real-time conversation with a diverse group of peers.

Coursework is offered through Canvas, an interactive learning system designed to be easily navigable and accessible across mobile devices, tablets, laptops, or desktops. This platform allows students to find their coursework and assignments, work with fellow classmates, and direct questions to their instructor. Preview an online course now.

Classes also enlist the use of video conferencing and podcasts, where students will work and converse with their peers. Even though you won’t be in a physical classroom, you’ll still get immersive, interactive educational experience.

Through the Global Student Dashboard, students have access to all of these resources any time day or night. With 24/7 technical support, online students can be assured that everything they need will be available to them whenever they need it.

The Benefits of an Online Psychology Program

For those who take care of family or work a full-time job, the idea of returning to school may seem like an impossible dream. However, online programs at The Chicago School make it possible for you to keep your job, take care of your children, and get a degree.

Getting your psychology degree online means that you’re able to maintain your current lifestyle while pursuing your passion. Location isn’t an issue and classes can be arranged around your schedule. Many our programs are taught online with only a small “synchronous virtual residency” component (a one- or two-hour session each term in which all students are expected to be online simultaneously).

The Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that between 2014 and 2024 Psychologists will see 19 percent job growth – much faster than average for other career fields. With an online psychology program, you can pursue your career path in this rapidly growing field from wherever you are, on your own time.
